It's true. We have officially changed the name of the celebration that people have been taking pleasure in for over a decade. We're still the same enthusiastic group of people with a fondness for sharing the textures and flavors of our culture; the same history, the same foods, same creativity.
We've changed the name and the logo to better reflect what it is people looked for and discovered when they joined us for the Food of the Gods Festival in Oaxaca. They were all looking to savor ..... A TASTE OF OAXACA.
So, we've changed our name, but not our mission - which is to offer you insights into the best of Oaxaca has to offer. We just wanted to better describe what you can expect from your visit.
We still offer the same service, the same opportunities to explore, learn and have fun; the same delicious cuisine and indigenous arts and crafts.
Come and join us for one of the best vacations you'll ever have ............
A TASTE OF OAXACA.

With 17 indigenous Indian groups from the Oaxacan valleys, mountains and coastal regions contributing to this robust cuisine, Oaxaca today offers a wide variety of eating pleasures - lifting what was basically peasant food to incredible heights of culinary sophistication.
Oaxaca is really the place of choice to experience authentic pre-Hispanic flavors; flavors that were enhanced by the skills of early convent nuns and perfected by present-day chefs.
Taste of Oaxaca 2007 has been discontinued until further notice due to low tourist turn out in Oaxaca city. We thank everyone for their support.
